ARTS FESTIVAL PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION

The theme is “my favourite…” This can be a person, place, animal, thing or activity. Three age categories - under 11, between 12 and 17 and 18+ - so start snapping! More details on the Arts Festival page.

TENNIS COACHING @ COLLIERS WOOD RECREATION GROUND

Starting in March on Saturday mornings: 9 to 10am (4-9 year olds) and 10 to 11am (10-16 year olds). £3 per lesson or £15 for a block of 6 lessons. Qualified instructors. Min 8 children per lesson. Contact Fili on filirojo@gmail.com.

Local volunteer gardeners meet most Friday afternoons and Saturday Mornings (weather permitting) in Christchurch Gardens, Christchurch Road.

4. “MUSIC MAYHEM”

Share the pleasure of music and singing from 10 to 10.45 every Monday morning with pre-school children, parents and carers, at the library.

5. POETRY CIRCLE

Read your own poetry or favourite poem relating to the changing seasons and festivals from 5.30 to 6.30pm on Thursday 27th, at the library.

6. BALLROOM DANCE CLASSES

An opportunity to learn the Ballroom Tango and Jive in February. Every Sunday. Beginners @ 5.30pm; Improvers @ 7.30; Intermediates @ 9. £6 per class or £15 for 4 weeks, at the community centre. For further information see web page.
