1. DONALD HOPE LIBRARY CELEBRATION FOR FRIDAY RE-OPENINGS

To celebrate the new opening on Fridays, our library and its volunteers have organised a series of events and taster classes on 10th. On 17th, there is a workship on how to read your labels (food and more) from 10-11:30, led by Elena Lestini, PhD in Chemistry. 2. WHAT'S GOING ON IN COLLIERS WOOD?

Meet your local community groups and find out what they can do for you at the Colliers Wood Community Centre. Face-Painting, Craft workshops and Climbing wall for children, community group displays and surprises. Café serving light lunches, refreshments and home-made cakes throughout the day. From 11 to 5pm. Free entrance. Organised by the Colliers Wood Residents' Association.

ARTS FESTIVAL PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION

The theme is “my favourite…” This can be a person, place, animal, thing or activity. Three age categories - under 11, between 12 and 17 and 18+ - so start snapping!

4. BADMINTON AND TABLE TENNIS CLUB

5. “MUSIC MAYHEM”

Share the pleasure of music and singing from 10 to 10.45 every Monday morning with pre-school children, parents and carers, at the library.

6. POETRY CIRCLE

Read your own poetry or favourite poem relating to the changing seasons and festivals from 5.30 to 6.30pm on Thursday 30th, at the library.

7. BALLROOM DANCE CLASSES

An opportunity to learn the Rumba and Chachacha in January. Every Sunday. Beginners @ 5.30pm; Improvers @ 7.30; Intermediates @ 9. £6 per class or £15 for 4 weeks, at the community centre. For further information see web page.

8. TAP DANCE CLASSES FOR ADULTS - MEN AND WOMEN
