COLLIERS WOOD'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL SPRING ARTS FESTIVAL

1. AFRICAN DRUMMING

With master drummer Sebastian Uhurlu, from 11.30 to 12.30, for all ages and experience, at St. Joseph’s Hall on Saturday 5th and 12th. £5 adults; £2.50 concessions.

2. FREE TASTER BALLET CLASS

For pre-school children, with Gemma Gooding, from 2 to 2.30, at the Johmard Centre, opposite the Community Centre, on Saturday 5th. Adults £5; children £2.50.

3. FABRIC WORKSHOP

A playful, creative and imaginative fabric workshop, with Marianne Zeck, from 2.30 to 4.30, at the Johmard Centre, opposite the Community Centre, on Saturday 5th.

4. CABARET NIGHT

With local cabaret performers including the Cavendish Capriccio, Project Adorno, Cabaret Gymnastics, Lady Penelope, musician James Ingham and storyteller Eli Anderson, at St Joseph's Hall on Saturday 5th at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 from Keith – 07982 721 496

5. SHORT STORY COMPETITION

At 7pm on Thursday 10th. Register at the Donald Hope Library. 200 words on the theme of “Games”. £25 prize.

6. FESTIVAL CLOSING CONCERT

The Colliers Wood Chorus will be singing with “Take Twenty”, a vocal jazz ensemble, and the Coro Armonia Casorate, a chamber choir from Italy, at the Sangerstevne Music Festival at Christ Church at 7:30 on Friday 11th. Entrance is FREE.

7. COLLIERS WOOD RAMBLING GROUP

“A guided walk with the war heroes” around Chelsea, on Sunday 6th. Meet at 10am sharp at the bus stop outside the library. Contact Rita on 020-85401560.
