1. UKULELE FESTIVAL

The biggest and best show in town returns to the Community Centre at 7.30pm on Saturday 7th May. Tickets £5.

2. COLLIERS WOOD CHORUS AT THE SANGERSTEVNE

Having performed with 27 other choirs in Ealing the previous day, the Chorus will have a longer programme on Sunday 15th May at St Peter's Church, Vauxhall, in conjunction with Carmina Romana from Paris.

3. WOODLAND MAINTENANCE

Come and join us and help to make a difference as we tidy, weed and prune our Community Woodland in Wandle Park from 10-11am and our Community Hedgerow in the Recreation Ground on Sunday 22nd May. We will also be looking and listening for birds and butterflies, frogs, toads and insects. Bring suitable tools, footwear and working gloves and we will provide the refreshments!

4. TENNIS COACHING

Professional tennis coaching for children under 8 from 9-10am and children and young people over 8 from 10-11am every Saturday morning on the tennis courts in the Recreation Ground. £2 per child. Call Fili and Stefan on 07505 103916 for further details and to book a place for your child.

5. BASKETBALL COACHING

Professional basketball coaching for girls and boys aged 11 to 16 in the Recreation Ground will be starting soon on Saturday afternoons from 3-4pm. Call Keith on 07982 721496 to register.

Grow the tallest sunflower in Colliers Wood and you could win a £10 prize at the Merton Abbey Horticulture Society Summer Show on Saturday 10th September.
