THE COLLIERS WOOD AUTUMNAL BALL

Dance to R&B and soul singer Dee and period records from 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 2nd September at GJ’s bar in the High Street.

MUSIC AND GAMES NIGHT

Music from local band plus pool, table tennis and table top games. From 7.30 p.m. Saturday 4th September @ St. Joseph’s Hall.

LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AND DANCE

Begins at 7.30 pm. on Saturday 11th September with a salsa class and then dance to the “Havana Good Time” Band. Tickets £5 concessions/£6 in advance on 07982 721496 /£7 on the door @ the Community Centre.

TENNIS COACHING

Free tennis coaching every Saturday morning in the Recreation Ground. Under 8s from 9 to 10. Young people aged 8 to 16 from 10 to 11.

BASKETBALL COACHING

Free basketball coaching for young people, aged 11 to 16, girls and boys, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday afternoon in the Recreation Ground.

“GET INTO READING”

Enjoy the pleasure of reading aloud to each other with a trained facilitator. For details of this new project contact Lois Walters on 07730 503144.

THE RAMBLING COLLIERS!

Meet outside the Library at 10 a.m. on Sunday 26th September for a ramble around Kelsey Park and Eden Park in Beckenham. For more details call Rita on 020-85401560.

TAI CHI IN WANDLE PARK

Every Sunday during the summer months from 11 to 12 with Tai Chi master Paul Crompton. Beginners welcome. £4; concessions £3.

BADMINTON AND TABLE TENNIS CLUB

THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA OF COLLIERS WOOD

“COLLIERS WOOD COME DANCING!”

Ballroom dance classes at the Community Centre every Sunday. Learn the tango and the rumba in September. Beginners at 7 p.m., improvers at 8 p.m. and intermediates at 9 p.m. For further information contact Tony, the co-ordinator, on 020-8542 2977.

BALLET CLASSES FOR ADULTS – both men and women

Every Tuesday from 9.15 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. and every Thursday from 8.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. at the Community Centre. All ages and levels of experience and ability are welcome.

TAP DANCING CLASSES FOR ADULTS

Every Wednesday at GJ's function room, next to the Community Centre. Beginners at 7.30 p.m. will be joined by those with some experience from 8 p.m., to finish at 9.30 p.m. Only £4 per class. For further information contact Tony on 020-8542 2977.
