SPORTING OLYMPIAD

Free tennis and basketball coaching, Little League Football Funday and barbecue, badminton and table tennis tournaments (plus a Tai Chi session - £3 per person) - in the Colliers Wood Recreation Ground. Activities from 10 to 1 on Sunday 2nd May.

COLLIERS WOOD MAY BALL

Ballroom dance live music from R & B singer Dee (who has performed at Ronnie Scott’s) in the dance room at GJ’s from 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 6th May. £5.

COLLIERS WOOD'S BIG DAY OUT!

The Colliers Wood Chorus has been invited back to sing at the “Grand Finale” at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 9th May. Come and hear us at 1.30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Clore Ballroom on Level 2 and 2.15 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. on the Riverside Terrace.

THE RAMBLING COLLIERS!

Meet outside the Library at 10 a.m. on Sunday 16th May for a ramble around Golders Hill to Hampstead. For more details call Rita on 020-8540 1560.

TAI CHI IN WANDLE PARK

Every Sunday during the summer months from 11 to 12 with Tai Chi master Paul Crompton beginning on 23rd May. £3.

THE READING GROUP

Meets at the Library from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday 25th May.

BADMINTON AND TABLE TENNIS CLUB

THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA OF COLLIERS WOOD

Every Thursday from 8 to 10 p.m. If you don't have a uke, you can come along and try one. Budding strummers should contact Derek on 07956 561799.

PILATES CLASSES

From 11 to 12 on Tuesdays during term time at St Joseph’s Hall. £5 per class. Call Kevan on 07764 632995 for further details.

“COLLIERS WOOD COME DANCING!”

Ballroom dance classes at the Community Centre every Sunday. Beginners at 7 p.m., improvers at 8 p.m. and intermediates at 9 p.m. For further information contact Tony, the co-ordinator, on 020-8542 2977.

BALLET CLASSES FOR ADULTS – both men and women

Every Tuesday from 9.15 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. and every Thursday from 8.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. at the Community Centre. All ages and levels of experience and ability are welcome.

TAP DANCING CLASSES FOR ADULTS

Every Wednesday at GJ's function room, next to the Community Centre. Beginners at 7.30 p.m. will be joined by those with some experience from 8 p.m., to finish at 9.30 p.m. Only £4 per class. For further information contact Tony on 85422977.
