COMMUNITY WOODLAND PHASE 3

The trees will help to absorb rain water and protect local properties from flooding, absorb carbon emissions and produce oxygen, provide habitats for wildlife and improve the appearance of the park. We will be planting the woodland with children from local schools on Friday 28th November from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and with local residents, community groups, Merton Tree Wardens and staff from Merton Council on Saturday 29th November from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
