COMMUNITY PICNIC

Join us for a community picnic next to the children’s playground in Wandle Park from 12 midday to 4 p.m. on Sunday 31st. Bring food and drink to share, games and musical instruments.

“COLLIERS COME DANCING!”

Ballroom dance classes every Sunday at 7.30 p.m. at the Community Centre. All ages and all abilities welcome. Only £3 per class!

“COLLIERS WOOD CHORUS”

Join us for an evening of singing for all and singing for fun! 7.45 to 9.30 p.m. every Monday at the Community Centre.

“THE RAMBLING COLLIERS!”

Meet outside the library 10 a.m. on Sunday 17th August for a ramble around Lloyd Park. For more details call Rita on 85401560.

THE READING GROUP

Meets at the Library from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday 26th August. The Book of the Month is "No time for goodbye" by Linwood Barclay.

WOMEN’S HEALTH GROUP

Activities include confidence building, swimming and health issues. Contact Sarah on 85449082 for further details.

BALLET CLASSES FOR ADULTS – both men and women

Every Thursday from 8.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Community Centre. All ages and levels of experience and ability are welcome. The fee of £3 includes refreshments. For further details contact Bethany, the instructor, on 86469728, or Tony, the coordinator, on 85422977.

THE PLAY RANGERS ARE COMING!

A team of three playworkers will provide free activities for children aged 8 to 14 in Colliers Wood Recreation Ground from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 13th August.

OPEN GARDENS

COMMUNITY WOODLAND

£193 was raised at the Ceilidh which will pay for phase 3 of our woodland in Wandle Park during Tree Week in December.
