“GAMES NIGHT, LIVE MUSIC AND KARAOKE!”

7.30 p.m. on Saturday 1st December @ St. Joseph’s Hall. An evening of 2 halves. 1st half, games, including table tennis, pool, scrabble, boggle, draughts and chess. Bring your favourite game to share. At half-time, wine and real ale will be served. In the 2nd half, a live music and karaoke session, which will include a performance from up and coming local band “Oriental Express”. Entrance £3 for adults, £1 for children. THE COMMUNITY WOODLAND

We will be planting Phase 2 of the Community Woodland in Wandle Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of December. Volunteers needed for planting, mulching, entertainment and refreshments.

“COLLIERS WOOD COME DANCING!”

Ballroom dance classes every Sunday at 7.30 p.m. @ Colliers Wood Community Centre. Includes the waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, cha cha, samba and the tango. All ages and all abilities welcome. Only £3 per class!

COLLIERS WOOD CHORUS CONCERT

With food, drink and guest singers to raise funds for Homestart Merton. Tickets £8, conc. £5, children £3. @ 7.30 p.m. on Monday 17th December at Colliers Wood Community Centre

“THE RAMBLING COLLIERS!”

Meet outside Colliers Wood Library at 9.50 a.m. leaving promptly at 10 a.m. on Sunday 2nd December. Ramble around London parks from St. James' to Kensington. We will be celebrating with an optional Christmas Lunch after the ramble. Call Rita on 8540 1560 for further details.

Meets at the library from 10.30 to midday on Saturday 15th December. More details from Crysella, the library manager.

WOMEN’S HEALTH GROUP

Activities include confidence building, swimming and health issues. New term starts in January.
